Background and Instructions on How to Get Started

The University and its three affiliated hospitals are required to provide education and training to investigators and personnel who are involved in human subjects research per our Multiple Project Assurance (see above).  To address this need the four institutions have developed the CREC education program.  The continuing education part of the program was launched on September 1, 2001.  

Initial Certification
All Responsible Investigators and NIH Key Personnel must enter the educational system by obtaining initial certification.  The following links to an explanation of those certification activities and the documentation associated with those activities:
