Revised RFP Posted & Deadline Extension to ODOT's FY 2010 Solicitation
|
The Ohio DOT has revised the posting for RFP # PS-10-02,
NCHRP 350 Testing of 12" Portable Concrete Barrier. The revised RFP is now available at http://www.dot.state.oh.us/Divisions/Planning/Research/announcements/Pages/RFP_FY_2010.aspx. The updated version contains the date "2/10/09" in the footer. As a result of this modification, the deadline for submitting proposals to the FY 2010 RFP has been extended to 4:00 PM (EST) on March 18, 2009. This extension applies to all projects posted with the FY2010 RFP. This extension does not apply to OPREP submissions. The deadline for OPREP proposals is 4:00 PM (EST) on March 6, 2009.

FY09 DOD PRORP and SCIRP Funding Opportunities
|
The US Army Medical Research and Materiel Command (USAMRMC), Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs (CDMRP), has received congressional appropriations in Fiscal Year 2009 (FY09) to establish a Peer Reviewed Orthopedic Research Program (PRORP) and Spinal Cord Injury Research Program (SCIRP).
Peer Reviewed Orthopedic Research Program
Appropriations in the amount of $61 Million for PRORP will be managed specifically to address research and treatment of orthopedic injuries as they relate to U.S. military casualties. Tentative Milestones can be found at http://cdmrp.army.mil/pubs/press/2009/09prorppreann.htm.
Spinal Cord Injury Research Program

The Christopher Columbus Fellowship Foundation, in partnership wit the Agusta Westland, has issued a Call for Nominations to announce the nationwide 2009 Homeland Security Award competition which will present one $25,000 award to a U.S. individual "cutting edge" innovation in the vast arena of homeland security. LFA's Finzi Summer Fellowship Application
|
The Lupus Foundation of America, Inc. (LFA) is pleased to announce that Gina Finzi Memorial Student Summer Fellowships will be available for the summer of 2009. The purpose of these awards is to foster an interest among young researchers in systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) under the supervision of an established investigator. Undergraduate, graduate and medical students are eligible to apply however, preference is given to students with a college degree. Amount of award is $2,000; Application deadline has been extended to March 6, 2009; Expected notification date is May 1, 2009. Notice of Revised Date and Deadline for NFLP Phase 2 submission
|
You may login into the Electronic Hand Books (EHBs) on February 25, 2009 to submit Nursing Faculty Loan Program (NFLP) phase 2 applications. The NFLP phase 2 submissions deadline in the EHBs has been extended to March 16, 2009. Please be sure that all NFLP phase 2 applications are submitted by March 16, 2009.
