CALL FOR PROPOSALS
Changes announced in the BSF regulations regarding Sabbaticals and Eligibility.
1. Applicants to BSF research and workshop grant programs must hold a PhD, or MD, or an equivalent degree.
2. Start-up grants will increase from $60,000 over two years per grantee, to $75,000 over two years per grantee. The sum contributed by the BSF will grow from $45,000 to $60,000, while the contribution of the home institution of the grantee will remain $15,000.
3. A PI will be allowed to be away from his/her home institution for 12 months without naming a replacement PI, including during the first year of the grant.
