RFA FOR CENTERS OF EXCELLENCE IN GAMBLING RESEARCH

The Institute for Research on Pathological Gambling and Related Disorders is pleased to announce the availability of competitive grants to establish Centers of Excellence in Gambling Research, a new initiative of the National Center for Responsible Gaming. Two New Autism Speaks RFAs - Fellowships and Environmental Sciences

Autism Speaks announced two new grant mechanisms now posted on their website at: http:www.autismspeaks.org/science/research/grants/open_grants_how_to_apply.php.

The new RFAs focus on 1) training students in autism research through Autism Speaks fellowship grants (Predoctoral and Postdoctoral awards) and 2) a specific request for applications for projects investigating the influence of environmental factors in autism.

Application deadlines vary based on the type of award. Please refer to the RFAs for important information and details.

NIH Public Access to Manuscripts

LUPUS FOUNDATION OF AMERICA RFA

The Lupus Foundation of America, Inc. (LFA) is the foremost national nonprofit organization dedicated to finding the causes of and cure for lupus and providing services to people affected by lupus. Lupus is a complex disorder that continues to cause significant morbidity and mortality. The purpose of these RFA’s is to accelerate research related to the causes, treatments, prevention and cure of lupus and to directly sponsor research to test new approaches and develop experimental prototypes.

This research program is supported exclusively through donations from the LFA’s constituent chapters, private foundations or corporations and the concerned public.
