Conflict of Interest

Policies at Affiliate/Partner Hospitals

UNIVERSITY HOSPITALS OF CLEVELAND CASE MEDICAL CENTER (UHCMC)
Case Faculty with UHCMC appointments, as well as investigators/key personnel on research conducted at UHCMC are required to fill out an annual Case Faculty and Sponsored Research Significant Financial Interest Report.

2010 UHCMC policy regarding Conflict of Interest

UHCMC follows Case’s Conflict of Interest Policy for Case Faculty with Medical Staff appointments at UHCMC. This is done in an effort to eliminate multiple reporting requirements between the two affiliated institutions. For further information regarding research at UHCMC, contact:

THE METROHEALTH SYSTEM (MHS)
Case Faculty with MHS appointments, as well as investigators/key personnel on research administered through Case and conducted at MHS (e.g., NIH research) are required to fill out an annual Case Faculty and Sponsored Research Significant Financial Interest Report. Also, MHS requires Medical Staff and Employees to submit an annual MHS Conflict of Interest Disclosure Form.

LOUIS STOKES CLEVELAND DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS MEDICAL CENTER (LSCDVAMC)
Case Faculty with LSCDVAMC appointments, as well as investigators/key personnel on research administered through Case and conducted at LSCDVAMC are required to  fill out an annual Case Faculty and Sponsored Research Significant Financial Interest Report.

Also, the LSCDVAMC requires that all investigators, collaborators and research personnel fill out an LSCDVAMC Conflict of Interest Statement upon initial project submission and annual review. For further information regarding LSCDVAMC COI policies and procedures, please contact:

THE CLEVELAND CLINIC FOUNDATION
Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine Faculty, as well as investigators/key personnel on research administered through Case and conducted at CCF by CCLCM Faculty (e.g., NIH research) are required to fill out an annual Case Faculty and Sponsored Research Significant Financial Interest Report (see above). 

Also, the Cleveland Clinic requires annual conflict of interest disclosure by Professional Staff (Faculty) and other employees via Cleveland Clinic’s Conflict of Interest Online Reporting System (see contact info below).
